Gourd Seeds - Cucuzzi (Italian Edible)

Lagenaria siceraria. This heirloom variety will mature to up to 36 inches long. This is an edible gourd. The non-GMO Cucuzzi Gourd is pale green and milder than luffa. This gourd is an excellent zucchini substitute. This is a sprawling plant and does well with a trellis of 8-10 feet. You can bake them like an eggplant or prepare them like a squash. The fruit is typically consumed when half-ripe.
