Tender leaves resembling white oak leaves give this lettuce its name. Lactuca sativa. Non-GMO. Heirloom. Organic. This is a favorite in mixed salads. Great for planting late in the season, this leaf doesn’t bitter with maturity and will produce well into the heat of the summer. Antebellum. Although the Oakleaf is slow to bolt and does well in the summer, it produces best in cooler climates.
