Plant this annual in the springtime and in midsummer. Mustard prefers full sun exposure and will tolerate some shade. Direct sow. Plant seeds half an inch and cover with soil. Do not plat mustard in areas that have had cabbage grown over the passed few years. The plant will spread about two feet. Fifty to seventy days until mature. The leaves will reach twenty inches in length when fully mature. Harvest early for baby greens.
