This is a Chong Gak type of Korean radish also known as an Altari type Korean radish with green should. It is suitable for spring and fall crops and its white roots grow 3-4" long. Great choice for kimchee pickling. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring or fall in a sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Excellent for pickling such as kimchee.
