This annual should be planted in the cooler season and in direct sun light. The cabbage prefers full sun exposure and will tolerate partial shade. Start indoors eight weeks before the last frost is expected. Plant seedlings a fourth of an inch deep and space eighteen inches apart. Seventy to ninety days until mature. The head of this cabbage will grow to seven inches in diameter when it is read to be harvested.
