Tall plants with high pod set allowing for ease of hand picking makes it ideal for Fresh Market growers. Sow seeds by broadcasting in soil tray and tamp into soil. Lightly cover with soil. Keep covered for 3 to 4 more days before exposing light. Water daily so the soil is moist but not soggy. Harvest at desired length. Young pea shoot-tips and leaves have a delicious pea flavor. Fresh pea shoots are great as garnish to sandwiches, tacos and to any salad. Excellent in stir-fry with garlic in dishes such as Chinese dau miao.
