Scarlet Runner Pole Bean Seeds

Plant the Scarlet Runner after the fear of frost has passed. Beans are not tolerant to cold. Plant in full sun. Sow directly. Place seed an inch deep and lightly cover. Space every six inches. Sixty to seventy days until mature. Pods will grow fairly long and are best harvested and used as snaps. The beans are best when young and tender and the more often you harvest the larger yield you will enjoy.
