Used in a variety of breads and cheeses, (namely havarti and rye), Caraway is a versatile culinary herb. This herb is also know as “Persian cumin.” It’s sweet and tangy flavor is used in sauerkraut as well as cakes and cookies. The seed has a crescent shape to it and it may help with stomach pain and flatulence. Non-GMO. Heirloom. This is a great substitute for Anise with a slightly milder flavor.
