Cumin is a fragrant, beautifully flowering plant that produces seeds used in Indian and Mexican dishes. Cuninum cuminum. This heirloom variety’s foliage resembles dill and can be added to salad mixes. Although it resembles dill it is actually a member of the parsley family. Non-GMO.
Cumin Seeds
Avoid fertilizers with high nitrogen. Cumin has a longer growing season and takes about 120 days to mature. Consider starting indoors. Full sun exposure. Once seedlings reach 2-3” thin to one plant every 4-8”. Harvest just before seeds start to drop.
