It has been used as incense since the time of ancient Egypt. Also called “Methi” the plant has Microgreen elements. The entire plant is edible.The leaves are used as a vegetable, the dried seeds as spice and a cold water extract has been used for centuries to battle respiratory infections and to lower fever. A favorite in many spice mixes.
Sew late spring to late summer. Direct sew about 4 inches deep. Consider soaking the seed for 12-24 hours. The plant thrives in full sun. 65° 120-150 days to maturity
