Plant this annual in a fully sun exposed area. Plant in the warmer season. Direct sow. Place seeds one inch deep and space twenty four to thirty six inches apart. The fruit grows to about three pounds and should be harvested when skin tone changes and netting becomes heavy. A gentle tug on the vine should let the fruit free.
