It’s flesh is stringless which makes for a smooth taste as well as texture. This is high production plant and is tough although it does not hold up well to frost.

This annual Winter Squash should be planted in the warmer season or started indoor. For direct sow plant seeds 1.5” deep and space at least 24” apart as this plant is a trailing vine. 90-120 days until mature. They can’t control you if you grow your own food.
