PLEASE READ THIS PAGE BEFORE PLACING AN INTERNATIONAL ORDER:

Please note all prices on the website are in USD.

Seeds are a regulated commodity and can be difficult to ship internationally. You are responsible for knowing what can and cannot enter your country. We suggest checking with your country's Department of Agriculture or equivalent - often called the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries or similar. All duties, fees, taxes, etc. are the responsibility of the consignee.

Many small international orders ship out promptly. Orders that require additional inspection and documentation can be delayed for a week or more.

If you have questions about International orders, please contact us during regular business hours via support@trueleafmarket.com.

Things to Know:

  • Soil & Fertilizers – Virtually all countries do not allow the importation of soil products. As a general rule, you are probably better off not ordering loose soil or growing kits containing loose soil. Most countries allow the importation of hydroponic grow mediums like jute mats, micro-mats, and biostrate mats. Coco-Coir products, like Minute Soil, are also typically acceptable. Most countries do not allow the importation of fertilizers.
  • Hard Goods – Most countries have no restrictions on shipping non-seed hard goods. These include items like sprouters, growing trays, etc. Hard goods that do not contain seeds, soil, or fertilizer are usually no problem, and you can place the order normally, online or by phone.
  • International Refunds & Returns – Our Guarantee applies to all international orders; however, we do not pay return shipping on international orders. Seeds that come back to us in good condition can be refunded, but original shipping costs cannot. Any return shipping costs are your responsibility.

We generally prefer to ship most overseas orders by global priority mail or by FedEx International but reserve the right to choose the carrier we feel is best suited for delivery to your country. You will be charged shipping rates for all international orders.

We DO NOT have an international dealership program.

Shipping Information by Country:

There may be additional requirements or restrictions depending on the destination country and the crops being imported. We try to be aware of each country’s requirements, but it is ultimately your responsibility to comply with local regulations and provide the appropriate paperwork.

Phytosanitary Certificate:

The most common extra document that often needs to accompany international shipments of seeds is a phytosanitary certificate. This certificate is issued by the USDA. It attests that the consignment meets the import requirements of the destination country.

IMPORTANT: True Leaf Market does not automatically include a phytosanitary certificate

We can arrange with the USDA to get this certificate, but only at the customer request. If a certificate is required, the customer should add this certificate to the shopping cart at the time the order is placed. A certificate cannot be issued after a shipment has left our warehouse. There is a fee for this certificate.

Some countries require that an import permit be submitted to the USDA prior to issuance of a phytosanitary certificate. If required, the importer should contact the appropriate regulatory agency for details. If the import permit additional requirements that we cannot meet, that will prohibit our ability to provide a phytosanitary certificate

True Leaf market can ship international order without any additional documentation but only at the customer’s risk. If the shipment is held up in customs, destroyed or simply disappears, the customer assumes the risk.
