Di Cicco broccoli is a wonderful Italian heirloom with an excellent flavor. This variety grows nice heads that are best harvested at 3 inches in size, and it will produce many side shoots! Trying cooking the leaves like chard or spinach for a lovely side dish. Di Cicco has a long, irregular harvest period, so you can pick fresh broccoli for longer than other varieties.
